Our Mission
Prisma and ethical hirer’s goal is to make businesses more transparent, ethical and inclusive in their hiring processes.
We do this through a number of different ways:
- Building a platform which makes it easy for businesses to adhere to ethical hiring practices.
- Sharing research and best practices, and curating a knowledge base of how hiring should be.
- Engaging with the wider hiring community, and sharing this knowledge.
Why are we doing this?
Every year, we see new innovations being introduced to make the hiring process more efficient, streamlined, allowing teams to cut down on costs while handling more job applications. Unfortunately, many of these innovations come at the human cost:
- An increase in automation practices mean many job applications are never seen by a human being.
- AI agents are making decisions on people’s futures, continuing biases which exist in the training data.
- Commission based structures meaning candidates feel pressured into roles they don’t feel suitable for.
We believe through education and user friendly, thoughtful tools, we can help organisations move to a better way of hiring, without increasing the strain on their hiring teams.
